The NSSJMA Board has approved a 3% Sewer Rate increase for 2025.
This will take the current quarterly rate of $ 114.13 to $ 117.55 for 2025.
First Quarter Billing of 2025 will be mailed on January 2, 2025.
STARTING APRIL 2025 ALL STATEMENTS NOT PAID IN FULL FROM QUARTER TO QUARTER WILL RECIEVE A $10.00 LATE CHARGE AT THE TIME OF QUARTERLY BILLINGS.

NSSJMA will be conducting Sewer Main line maintenance in 2024. This maintenance will consist of flushing the Sewer Main lines then follow with Televising to locate needed repairs / maintenance.
Overtime, Sewer Main Lines can be filled with debris.
Sanitary Sewer Main Lines flushing can cause an unpleasant smell or back up in your house as a result of the service. High Pressure flushing equipment can cause the water in your sinks, showers, floor drains and toilets to either be sucked down the drain or be splashed out. Please place plugs / towels or any sort of barrier to all open drains and close all toilet seat covers to prevent any undesi

NSSJMA Field Employees will be walking around the community placing doorhangers on all homes that will undergo smoke testing.
Door hangers have instructions to help assist homeowners.

911 will be contacted prior to smoke testing to inform them of the location.
They will then be informed when the testing is completed.
Sanitary Smoke Testing is the most efficient and cost effective way to locate and identify leaks in the sewer system and locate areas within the sewer system that need improvement. Smoke testing is also helpful in identifying plumbing leaks in buildings.
Pink Marker flags will be placed at location of visual smoke rising from the ground. This will allow easy location of needed repair for the homeowner and contractor if needed.

All schedules are subject to change due to Weather.
Homeowners will only receive notification if something is found.
