2024 Quarterly Billing Schedule
Starting in 2024, NSSJMA will be changing the Quarterly Billing Schedule to help elevate any confusion.
Bills will be sent out at the beginning of the Quarter due by the 15th of the Mid Quarter , late notices will then be sent out in hopes to wrap everything up by the 15th of the Last month of the quarter.
Notice of this change was sent with our 3rd Quarter Billing and will start January 1st, 2024.
No Penalty charges will be issued due to the overlap of billing from the 4th Qtr 2023 and 1st Qtr of 2024.

2024 Sewer Rates
The 2024 Sewer Rates will be as follows;
Yearly : $ 456.52
Quarterly Rate : $ 114.13
Monthly Rate: $ 38.05

nssjma sewer main line flushing / televising 2024
NSSJMA will be conducting Sewer Main line maintenance in 2024. This maintenance will consist of flushing the Sewer Main lines then follow with Televising to locate needed repairs / maintenance.
Overtime, Sewer Main Lines can be filled with debris.
Sanitary Sewer Main Lines flushing can cause an unpleasant smell or back up in your house as a result of the service. High Pressure flushing equipment can cause the water in your sinks, showers, floor drains and toilets to either be sucked down the drain or be splashed out. Please place plugs / towels or any sort of barrier to all open drains and close all toilet seat covers to prevent any undesi

Smoke Testing Door Hanger Notifications
NSSJMA Field Employees will be walking around the community placing doorhangers on all homes that will undergo smoke testing.
Door hangers have instructions to help assist homeowners.

Smoke Testing & EMERGENCY 911
911 will be contacted prior to smoke testing to inform them of the location.
They will then be informed when the testing is completed.
Smoke Testing Benefits
Sanitary Smoke Testing is the most efficient and cost effective way to locate and identify leaks in the sewer system and locate areas within the sewer system that need improvement. Smoke testing is also helpful in identifying plumbing leaks in buildings.
Flagging
Pink Marker flags will be placed at location of visual smoke rising from the ground. This will allow easy location of needed repair for the homeowner and contractor if needed.
